About this course

We will revisit the etiology and thought process associated with periodontal disease versus endodontic disease in our patients. What does it mean for a tooth to be “stable?” Can you treat an “abscessed” tooth? At what point is an extraction appropriate? Why in the world would root canal therapy be necessary in our veterinary patients? All this will be discussed with the goal of feeling more confident in our assessment, treatment plans, and conversations with the important family members that accompany our four-legged friends.
